KEVALA is an Ayurvedic wellness brand designed for a modern world. I was brought in to redefine the existing branding and prepare the company for growth, including the strategic merger of two separate brands into one cohesive identity. The challenge was to unify distinct visual languages and product lines without losing brand equity or confusing the customer.
I developed a comprehensive brand system that created clarity across both legacy lines while establishing a scalable foundation for future expansion. The goal was to honor Ayurvedic tradition while presenting a clean, modern aesthetic that resonated in contemporary retail environments and prepare them for brick-and-morter stores. Through thoughtful typography, color structure, and layout systems, I created consistency across every touchpoint while allowing flexibility within product categories.
I led the packaging concept and design for individual products and curated gift boxes, ensuring the new system worked seamlessly across SKUs. Every decision balanced emotional connection, shelf impact, cost efficiency, and manufacturability. I also redesigned and refined the Shopify website to align with the new identity, creating a cohesive digital experience that supported storytelling, clarified products, and strengthened the overall customer journey. Signage and supporting materials extended the unified identity into physical retail spaces, reinforcing trust and cohesion at the point of sale.
The result was a unified and scalable brand foundation that continues to guide the company’s growth. As new products and opportunities emerge, the system remains flexible and durable, proving its strength over time rather than requiring constant reinvention.
